A Five Step Process

The achievement of ITEPAC accreditation marks the culmination of a process of ongoing self-evaluation and continuous improvement, providing assurance that ITEPAC-accredited programmes are meeting their students' needs. Each programme must meet our eligibility requirements and must have an operational assessment procedure in place that satisfies our requirements for accreditation before applying for an accreditation review.

The process is divided into five main steps which are as follows:

Step 1

Review

Before allocating time and resources for the on-site inspection, a review makes sure that your programme is ready for the accreditation review process.

Step 2

Evaluation Request

Applications that have met all criteria for ITEPAC accreditation eligibility, put assessment procedures in place, and, if necessary, finished the readiness review, may start the accreditation procedure by submitting an RFE by January 31 of the year in which the programme wants an on-site visit.

Step 3

Self Study Report

Your programme must deliver a Self-Study Report to ITEPAC Headquarters by July 1 after submitting a Request for Evaluation.

Step 4

On-site visit

You will be asked to set up interviews, offer meeting places, and supply exhibit items after the on-site inspection is scheduled in order to help the review team with their evaluation. An exit meeting will be held at the end of the site visit, and the review team will present its findings there.

Step 5

Accreditation Decision

By August 31, a Final Statement is developed and sent to the institution. The Final Statement is based on the findings of the review team and the responses of the programme, and it expresses the accreditation commission's conclusion.
